More Route 51 Restrictions Coming Monday Near Route 88 Intersection

Crews from Duquesne Light will conduct tree trimming operations and installation of utility poles, weather permitting.

Single-lane closures will occur as needed on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on northbound Route 51 (Saw Mill Run Boulevard) in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood starting on Monday, Oct. 7, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.

The restrictions—between Stewart Avenue and Maytide Street—will last through Monday, Oct. 21, as crews from Duquesne Light will conduct tree trimming operations and installation of utility poles, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
