Making it Official

Mr. and Mrs. B-W Patch move to Baldwin Borough.

Luckily for me, Patch does not require its local editors to reside in the municipalities that they cover, just to live nearby.

From August, last year, until May 19, my wife, Nicole, and I had been living in nearby Jefferson Hills Borough—specifically, at the Heritage Hills complex off of Old Clairton Road. And since Dec. 6, I have served as the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch editor.

But on May 20, Nicole and I became homeowners for the first time, having bought a house on Blossom Drive in .

I first came to Baldwin-Whitehall when my parents moved to Jameson Drive in in 1993, and my wife entered the district when her parents moved to Oakridge Drive in in 1995.

My wife and I met at and graduated from Baldwin High together in 2001, and now, our move to Baldwin Borough finishes a purple-and-white trifecta.

While it has been a real pleasure serving Baldwin-Whitehall as its Patch editor since December, being a resident again will make the job all the more enjoyable and meaningful.

Proud to be a Highlander,

Bob Healy

Haha, thanks, Sas. You're a little late on this one, though.
