Where?/When?: /Thursday, June 2, 6-10 p.m.  
Why Go?: This week's Thirsty Thursday event offers you a great way to organize your photos, layout albums and journals, et al. Each week, the meetings' group will try a different beverage—from iced teas to smoothies!
Pricing: $5.

2.
Where?/When?: South Park Theatre/Thursday, June 2-Saturday, June 4, 8 p.m.; Sunday, June 5, 2 p.m.
Why Go?: This live performance of "Steel Magnolias" is set in a beauty salon in Louisiana where all of the ladies who are "anybody" come to get their hair done. The play is filled with hilarious repartee and humorous verbal collisions.

Where?/When?: South Park Fairgrounds (Corrigan Drive)/Friday, June 3, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Joe Zelek Band will perform at the South Park Amphitheater to kick off the South Hills Summer Concert Series.

Where?/When?: /Saturday, June 4, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: The Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God will hold "Spring Fling" at its lower campus on Saturday. The sisters' indoor/outdoor flea market and crafts fair will have over 65 vendors set up, including children's entertainment, raffles, pet adoption and more! The sisters will sponsor a special section in their Franciscan Spirit and Life Center that features a bake sale, a book sale and therapeutic massages. There will also be a special area for kids with a "moonbounce," face painting, crafts and other family activities. Proceeds from "Spring Fling" will benefit the ministries and outreach efforts of the sister's organization.

Where?/When?: The Home Depot in West Mifflin Borough/Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m.-noon.
Why Go?: Children ages 5 through 12 will make a valet organizer for Father's Day.

Where?/When?: /Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m.-10:30 p.m. (approximately) 
Why Go?: Come celebrate Baldwin's Community Day at its municipal complex. Make sure to stop by the 's duck pond and ring-toss booth to learn more about its 2011 Summer Reading Program. All-day activities include food booths and games for all ages. There is plenty to do at this festival. Click  for a full schedule of events! You may also donate canned goods.
Pricing: Admission is FREE, including a fireworks show. Prices of events and booths vary.

Where?/When?: Willett Road at Churchview Avenue/Saturday, June 4, 11 a.m.
Why Go?: This parade is technically part of this year's Baldwin Borough Community Day. The host of this year's Community Day Parade is the . 's marching band will perform in the parade. The route will begin at the intersection of Willett Road and Churchview Avenue and finish at the borough's municipal complex.
Pricing: FREE.

Where?/When?: Borough of Whitehall Municipal Complex/Saturday-Sunday, June 4-5, 9 a.m.-noon.
Why Go?: Registration for Whitehall Borough's summer recreation programs will be held in the borough administration office. Click here for a list of programs.

Where?/When?: /Sunday, June 5, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Where?/When?: Salon Richards, Sunday, June 5, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Why Go?: The Sean & Sophia Foundation is a foundation that was set up to bring a dog, Sophia, home to the founders' son Sean, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome. After this initial goal, the foundation will then expand to a full non-profit organization to help children with special needs obtain dogs or other medical services that are financially out of reach.The stylists of Salon Richards of Bethel Park and Pompadour Salon of Brentwood Borough will lend their talents to raise money for the foundation. Anyone can come to the salon, make a donation and get a haircut. All proceeds from this event go directly to The Sean & Sophia Foundation.
Pricing: Suggested donations: Child's cut: $10, Men's cut: $15, Women's cut: $20.
