Got no idea what you'll do this weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue. We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?: Michaels/Thursday, July 28, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: Children aged 3 and older will experience South Africa through craft. Participants will make a fun friendship bracelet and animal pin (while supplies last).
Pricing: Free with purchase of supplies.

2.
Where?/When?: /Thursday, July 28, 6-11 p.m.
Why Go?: St. Gabriel's weekly all-paper bingo event includes 31 games, including specials, winner-take-all quickies and a final, $1,000 jackpot game. There are many different strip-ticket games and Downline Derby played with Jackpot, as well. Come out and join your family and friends for a FREE dinner with every paid admission and a great night of fun. Participants must be 18 or older to play. All proceeds benefit St. Gabriel's free-tuition school.

Why Go?: This is a six-week workshop series for senior citizens at the . The program is designed for adults dealing with ongoing health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and/or heart disease. Participants will learn strategies for living a happier, healthier life. Register online.
Pricing: FREE.

Where?/When?: Whitehall Public Library/Friday, July 29, 6-8 p.m.
Why Go?: Friday night's movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The program is for those aged 13 to 18 years old. There will be a light snack and refreshments. Online registration is required.

Where?/When?: Bethel Park Community Center/Friday, July 29, 6-9:30 p.m.
Why Go?: One night, three hilarious comedians and a million laughs! Comedians David Kaye, Chuck Krieger and Lisa Dapprich will perform at this fun fundraiser. This is a bring-your-own-beverage event for those aged 21 and older. Ticket price includes a full pasta dinner, dessert buffet and a comedy show. Proceeds benefit all LifeSpan services for seniors.

Why Go?: This week, BNY Mellon Jazz presents the John Patitucci Trio as part of the 2011 Allegheny County Summer Concert Series.

Why Go?: The South Park Nature Center will hold a butterfly event for youths and adults. The program is a "search and enjoy" mission for these beautiful, fascinating creatures.

Where?/When?: Michaels/Saturday, July 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: Children aged 3 and older will learn about the land of the Amazon by creating a mask and a snake! This is a Make-It Take-It event (while supplies last).

Where?/When?: Mt. Oliver Fire Department/Sunday, July 31, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go?: Animal Friends is holding a low-cost rabies clinic at this location in Mt. Oliver Borough. Dogs and cats 3 months of age or older will be vaccinated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pricing: $10 per animal.

Where?/When?: /Sunday, July 31, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Celebrate the end of July at this pool party! Families that participated in the 's Summer Reading Club are invited to a night of swimming at the Whitehall Pool. There will be light refreshments. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Online registration is required.
