Here are five local deals on Labor Day-picnic items.

1.) Hot Dogs and Buns
Deal: Target–there's one on nearby Lebanon Church Road in West Mifflin Borough–is offering 16-ounce packages of Oscar Mayer beef franks for $2.79 each and eight-count bags of Pepperidge Farm hot dog buns (and hamburger buns for that matter) for $2.29 each.
Good through: Sept. 3, 2011.

2.) The Fixings
Deal: Rite Aid, which has two locations in Baldwin-Whitehall (, ), could be your best friend this weekend by offering a two-for-$3 deal on any combination of the following items: 14-ounce containers of French's yellow mustard, 24-ounce containers of Rite Aid-brand tomato ketchup, 18-ounce bottles of Kraft original barbecue sauce, 10-15-ounce cans of Hormel chili and 5.7-6-ounce cans of Rite Aid-brand olives. You must use a Rite Aid wellness+ rewards card to get the savings.
Good through: Sept. 3, 2011.

3.) Doritos
Deal: Kmart–there's one on Route 51 in nearby Pleasant Hills Borough–is having a buy-one-get-one-free sale on 11-12.5-ounce bags of Doritos (seasoned tortilla chips).
Good through: Sept. 3, 2011.

4.) Pepsi and Mountain Dew
Deal: –there's one in Whitehall Borough's –is selling four 24-packs of 12-ounce cans of Pepsi and Mountain Dew for $18 if you use a Giant Eagle Advantage Card. That's four packs for $18.
Good through: Sept. 7, 2011.

5.) Ribs
Deal: If you're doing some grilling, —you can find one on Sussex Avenue in Baldwin Township—is offering Roseland baby back pork ribs for $3.49 per pound.
Good through: Sept. 6, 2011 (closed on Labor Day, Sept. 5).
