Deal: Rite Aid, which has two locations in Baldwin-Whitehall (, ), is having a buy-one-get-one-free sale on backpacks, lunch kits and lunch totes. You must use a Rite Aid wellness+ rewards card to get the savings.

2.) Notebooks
Deal: Wal-Mart has a Supercenter on nearby Century Drive in West Mifflin Borough, and that Supercenter is selling Five Star one-subject notebooks for $1.97 each.
Good through: Aug. 20, 2011.

3.) Binders
Deal: Target–there's one on nearby Lebanon Church Road in West Mifflin–is offering 1-inch, Avery Durable binders (with view pockets) for $2 each.

4.) Paper Pocket Folders
Deal: Office Depot–there's one in West Mifflin's Century Square area and another on Oxford Drive in Bethel Park–has paper pocket folders for sale for $0.01 each. Yes, one cent (limit: 10 per household/business).

5.) Sharpies
Deal: Kmart–there's one on Route 51 in nearby Pleasant Hills Borough–is selling 12-packs of assorted-color Sharpie markers for $7.
