Community Corner

Food City Fellows Community Garden Planning Meeting

Join us at the Accamando Center located at Route 51 and Maytide Street on Thursday, June 28th at 10:00am to welcome our students into the community and share your knowledge and ideas for our community garden project.

The Food City Fellows Community Garden Initiative is a program hosted by Women for a Healthy Environment. As a summer work-study program, students will design, create and maintain a community garden located adjacent to the Accamando Center in the Overbrook/Carrick neighborhoods of Pittsburgh.

Your voice is highly valued and we appreciate any time you can give to our community cause!
