Baldwin Township Light Up Night Will Be Nov. 27

The 19th annual event is organized by the Baldwin Township Business and Professional Association.

U.S. Congressman Tim Murphy and state Senator Wayne Fontana will welcome residents of  and its surrounding communities to the intersection of McNeilly Road and Sussex Avenue ( parking lot) to celebrate the start of the Christmas season on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Murphy and Fontana's presence is part of the Baldwin Township Business and Professional Association's 19th Annual Christmas Tree Light Up Night, which starts at 6 p.m. with the arrival of Santa Claus and his elves by way of a Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department truck.

Santa, as well as Murphy and Fontana, will hand out goodie bags to children, and Mrs. Claus will help children to sit on Santa's lap for photos.
