5 Free Things to Do at the Whitehall Library

You, a loved one or a friend could all take advantage of this wonderful resource in Whitehall Borough.

Here are five things that won't cost you a dime if you do them at the Whitehall Public Library.

1. Get digital: The library offers a number of computers, Internet and Microsoft Office tutorials for beginners. Learn more here.

2. Then, go online: Sixteen computer workstations with Internet access and Office 2010 are available in the library, including one machine with Adobe Photoshop hooked up to a scanner. Also, the library provides wireless network service to connect your personal laptop to the Web. All that you need is a laptop, wireless adapter and Web browser.

3. Family Night: Children of all ages are invited to a weekly activity night (Monday nights from 7 to 8) for stories, games, crafts, activities and special events. Registration is not required.

4. Matinee in the Café: The Second Chapter Café is the place for adults to watch newly released DVDs every Friday from 1:15 to 4 p.m. Registration is not required.
