Whitehall Borough Celebrates Community Day in Style (Weekly Photo Gallery)

Events at Brennan Plaza and Snyder Park entertain folks from all over Pittsburgh's South Hills area.

Whitehall Borough played host to a Community Day celebration that brought a crowd from all over the Baldwin-Whitehall area on Saturday, as well folks from neighboring communities.

The day began with a 5,000-meter race and 1-mile fun walk and ended with music by country band Ruff Creek and dancing by Shade Sisters Dance Studio.

In between, the celebration (held at both Edwin F. Brennan Plaza and Snyder Park) featured country line dancing, food booths, other vendors, the Baldwin High School marching band and much, much more.

This year's theme was "A Whitehall Borough Hoedown."

The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch sponsored a booth all day on Saturday and snapped quite a few photos of some of the day's activities.
