Two Assault Arrests in Baldwin Township

Police notes from Feb. 24-March 1.

Rose Lane

Baldwin Township police officers went to Rose Lane for a report of an altercation at around 1:36 a.m. on Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with choke marks on her neck, as well as swelling and redness around her right eye, Baldwin Township police Chief Terrence P. O'Brien said.

The officers arrested Brandon James Wible, 29, of Rose, on two simple assault charges and took him to the Allegheny County Jail.

UPDATE: The charges were withdrawn on June 26.

Highview Road

Later that day, at around 10:29 p.m., township police went to the 500 block of Highview Road for a report of an altercation.

Officers determined David Carr, 18, of Highview, to be the aggressor, O'Brien said, and arrested him on two simple assault charges and one terroristic threats charge. He was taken to the county jail. (UPDATE: Those charges were withdrawn on Aug. 28.)
