The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch has partnered with the Baldwin Historical Society to bring you a weekly trivia question that delves into our area's colorful past.
Pat Lombardi and Patty Woehler, co-presidents of the society, generously write the questions and provide the pictures.
Here is this week's question:
This waterfall in the Baldwin area was situated near a Laflin & Rand Powder Company location, which provided explosives for area mines.
In the early 1900s, during the summer months, local children would dam up a creek near the waterfall and use it as a swimming hole.
What was the name of this waterfall, and where was it located?

Robert I remember seeing the water fall in pictures from my grandmother. Her family had a farm that went from Brownsville Road down almost to Becks Run Road in the 1900's. One of my uncles was also a country commissioner back in the 50's too.
