Neighbors and guests from Whitehall Borough will descend on CONSOL Energy Park for a family-friendly night of food, baseball and fireworks on Friday, June 8.
Tickets for the event are on sale now through May 25 at the Borough of Whitehall Municipal Complex. (Order form included in the media gallery above.)
Registrants will pay $25 per adult and $15 per child (aged 12 and younger) for tickets to the June 8, Washington Wild Things game against the Normal (IL) CornBelters in North Franklin Township, a suburb of Washington, PA.
An all-you-can-eat pregame buffet will be served in a private group picnic area at 5:45 p.m. for those with tickets purchased through Whitehall officials. The game starts at 7:05.
Whitehall ticketholders will sit in reserved seats along CONSOL Energy Park's third-base line and enjoy group experiences like performances and appearances by Baldwin-Whitehall musicians, scouting groups, dancers, cheerleaders and others.
One child from the Whitehall group will be chosen to be a guest public address announcer for one inning of Wild Things batters, another will be chosen to be a "dugout buddy," and another will be a "high five kid."
And when the game ends, all those in attendance will enjoy a fireworks display.
Please send order form and payment (or drop them off in person) by Friday, May 25, to Whitehall Borough, ATTN: Kelly Joyce, 100 Borough Park Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15236. (Checks are to be made payable to "The Whitehall Borough Recreation Board.")
