Time Again for Whitehall 'Good Neighbor' Nominations

Nominations must be submitted by Monday, Aug. 20.

During Whitehall Borough's 2012 Community Day celebration, Whitehall Mayor James F. Nowalk and the Whitehall Council will honor individuals who are known to be "good neighbors."

To be eligible for a Good Neighbor Award, a person must be nominated, in writing, by someone else. Nominees should be outstanding volunteers and/or citizens.

Nominations should be mailed or dropped off at the borough's municipal office on Borough Park Drive by Monday, Aug. 20.

The nominations should be addressed to: Good Neighbor Award; c/o Jim Leventry, Borough Manager; 100 Borough Park Dr.; Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

Any questions regarding the nomination and selection process should be directed to Nowalk at 412-884-1876.

Note: Nominators do not have to be Whitehall residents, but nominees do.
