Softball Celebration at Princess Lanes (Weekly Photo Gallery)
Baldwin-Whitehall's team of 9-12 year olds won a Mayor's Cup title at PNC Park on July 25.
The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch publishes a weekly photo gallery of interesting and/or important images caught around our area. Any photo taken from a spot in Baldwin Township, Baldwin Borough or Whitehall Borough qualifies; though, we'll occasionally accept photos that are right on our neighbors' borders as well.
For last week's gallery, B-W Patch reader Brian Gregg submitted photos and a video taken from his residence on Frich Drive in Baldwin Borough of a thunderstorm over the Pittsburgh area on July 28.
For this week's gallery, the B-W Patch received a series of photos taken by Princess Lanes employee John Romanowski of a victory celebration for Baldwin-Whitehall's 12-and-younger slow-pitch softball team, which captured a 2011 Pittsburgh BIG League Mayor's Cup championship at PNC Park on July 25. Princess Lanes, in Whitehall's Caste Village, sponsored the team and hosted the celebration, which was held on Wednesday, Aug. 10.
