Search Leads to Large Drug Bust at Prospect Apartment
Police went into the residence on July 2.
Guess they found what they were looking for.
Whitehall Borough police officers who went into 1621 Skyline Dr., Apt. 5, with a search warrant at around 6:40 p.m. on July 2 emerged with multiple packages of suspected marijuana, according to Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi.
The officers obtained a warrant for the Wallace (Prospect) Park-area residence at around 5:30 p.m. that day.
Acting on "probable cause," Dolfi said, the officers were looking specifically for controlled substances.
Police have charged the apartment's tenant—Jared Ryan Humphrey, 22—with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and Brandon Patrick Osborne, 20, of 502 Maytide St. in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood, with possession of a controlled substance. (UPDATE: Osborne's charge was withdrawn on Aug. 28.)
