Results from Magisterial District Court 05-2-17

The following results are from recent hearings held in the Caste Village office of Magistrate David J. Barton of District Court 05-2-17:

• Baldwin Township police charged Zachary Ostrowski, 24, of Highview Road in Baldwin Township, with driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 24. Ostrowski's Nov. 22 hearing before Barton was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 11. UPDATE: Rescheduled for March 14.

• Baldwin Township police charged Charles Greenwald, 23, of Skyline Drive in Whitehall Borough, with DUI on Sept. 24. Greenwald's Nov. 22 hearing before Barton was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 11.

• Baldwin Township police charged Ryan Fogarty, 34, of Lexington Drive in Lawrence, PA, with DUI on Sept. 24. Fogarty's Nov. 22 hearing before Barton was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 11.

• Baldwin Township police charged Willie Johnson, 20, of Hillsdale Avenue in Dormont Borough, with drug possession on Sept. 24. The charge was withdrawn on Nov. 22.

• Baldwin Township police charged Dana McGinnis, 42, of 2732 Crosby Ave. in Dormont, with possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, possession of narcotics and failure to drive on the right side of the road on July 15. McGinnis' Aug. 16 hearing before Barton was waived, and she faced those charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Sept. 30. McGinnis had a pre-trial conference on Nov. 23, and she will now have a non-jury trial starting on Feb. 7.

• Whitehall Borough police charged Zachary Mielcarek, 19, of 1701 Parkline Drive, Apt. 12, in Whitehall, with simple assault on Aug. 20. Mielcarek's Nov. 22 hearing before Barton was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 11.
