Feb. 14, 2013: Remember this story? It was first published in January 2011.

LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS BELOW. (You can add photos, too!)

It wasn't quite love at first sight. Though my wife insists that we met in 10th grade (or was it in ninth?), and I think that we met in 11th, I definitely first got to know her when we were both enrolled at Baldwin High School. Nonetheless, we didn't date until after we graduated.

I'll bet that a lot of other BHS alumni met their spouses while both were students in the district. A call to Patch readers: Have you?

Let's not just talk about Baldwin High. Did you meet your spouse while you were both at McAnnulty Elementary School?

Here's an interesting one: Did you meet your spouse while s/he was at Whitehall Elementary School and you were at W.R. Paynter Elementary School?

My wife (formerly Nicole Vamos) and I graduated from BHS in 2001, but we know plenty of other married alumni who didn't graduate in the same year. How about you?

One of Patch's primary goals is to engage the community, so please leave a comment below and a picture above. There is NO CHARGE to do so. If you found your spouse while you were both Baldwin-Whitehall students, tell us and other readers in the comments section. What year did you graduate? What year did your spouse graduate? What are your names?

And ... when did you meet? I'll bet some of you even met while not in a B-W public school. So, let's include the private schools in the area, as well.

Did you meet at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin School? Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic School? The ACLD Tillotson School? If you're an older alumnus, you may have even met while one of you were at Wallace School.

By the way, if you are engaged (or know an alumnus who is), please let us know by publishing a wedding announcement here. We'll list it on Patch even if that future spouse of yours wasn't lucky enough to be a Highlander.

But, for these comments and pictures, we're looking for entirely Purple and White couples.

My husband (Matthew Fisher) and I met the Summer going into 9th grade at Baldwin High School. We both lived in Baldwin Township but did not meet until high school as he went to a catholic school before Baldwin. I went to Whitehall.

My husband and I became good friends and went to our 10th grade dance together. (The picture could make anyone laugh. It is terrible). However, we did not become a couple until after we graduated in 2001.

We started dating in 2003 when Matt was at Columbia University and I was at Point Park.

We got engaged in 2008 in Central Park and married on June 5, 2010.

We are now living in Philadelphia while Matt completes his post doc at the University of Pennsylvania and hoping to come back to Pittsburgh in a couple years.

Another great couple out of Baldwin!!

My husband (Jeff Steggert) and I met during our ninth grade year at Baldwin High School. Jeff attended Bishop McDowell's School from kindergarten to 8th grade and then came to high school at BHS. I went to Paynter Elementary and Harrison Middle School.

We graduated from high school in 2001. We were close friends throughout high school and kept in touch throughout undergrad, but never dated until 2005. Jeff went to Edinboro University and I attended Clarion University. For graduate school, Jeff attended the Radford University in Virginia and I attended PITT.

We got married in November of 2007 and we're currently living in Plum. Jeff works for Westinghouse in the Organizational Developement department and I teach kindergarten in a local school district.

My husband, Aaron Mazek, and I both went to Baldwin High School, but we didn't meet there. I graduated in 2001 and he graduated in 1999. My group of friends were friends with his group of friends, and one family had two siblings who were friends in each of our groups. Aaron even took one of my best friends to senior prom! So basically, all my friends knew him before I did. We started dating the summer of 2002, and we just got married in Maui in August 2010. He works at Del Monte, in IT. I work at BNY Mellon in Wealth Management. We bought a house in the south hills last year, and we still love it here! I attended his 10-year reunion two summers ago. Anyone hear anything about the Baldwin class of 2001's 10 year reunion yet?

My husband, William 'Bill' Stevens and I both are graduates from Baldwin High School. My husband graduated in 2001 and I (Kelly Owens) graduated in 2002. We started dating my senior year after Bill graduated. We have been happily married for over 3 years. We own a beautiful home in Bethel Park. We have been blessed with a great bundle of joy our son Hunter, who will be 1 year old this February!

My husband, Michael Gruber and I met in Baldwin High School as well. I was a sophomore and he was a senior. Back then I had 9th grade at Whitehall Jr High so 10th grade was your 1st year in the high school. Well, being the "cool" sophomore with all her friends in lunch, we put our books on a back table where the seniors usually sat. Much to our chagrin, when we got back to the table after getting our lunches, our books were all on the floor! So after trying to argue that the table was ours, and of course not winning, we sat at the next table. Within a few months most of their table ended up at our table. Valentine's day 1986 was our first official date. We actually got married on February 15th because Valentine's day that year was on a Friday .We now have a home in Baldwin and two kids that go to Paynter Elementary. I am now a PTA mom and hope my kids grow up with great memories of Baldwin too!

My husband Ryan Eperthener and I (Stella Smith) met the end of our Freshman year at Baldwin while on a music department trip to Myrtle Beach, SC (we graduated in 2002). We survived the teenage tragedies that are associated with high school relationships (ie melodrama). Then survived going to seperate colleges and have been married for the last two years. We are currently back in Baldwin renting out his Grandmother's house in South Baldwin.

My husband, Brett Newbould, and I met at Harrison middle school when we were in the seventh grade. We "dated" off and on through the middle school and early high school years. We officially got together in the summer between Junior and Senior year. After we graduate in 2003, Brett joined the Navy. We were married in November of that year and moved across the country to San Diego, where we lived for four years. We moved home in 2007 and now live in Whitehall with our two daughters. Brett is now a Whitehall police officer. We will be celebrating our ninth anniversary this November. You really can meet your soul mate at any age!

Thx for sharing, Ashley. By these accounts AT LEAST (http://patch.com/A-gyJW, http://patch.com/A-n61k), Brett's been quite a policeman for Whitehall.

My husband, Chris, and I met during our Sophomore year at Baldwin H.S. We were both active with the Stage Crew. A mutual friend, who was also part of the Crew, found out we each had a crush on the other. She got us together, talking, and eventually going to the Sophomore dance together.

We continued to date through high school. After graduating in '97, we both had plans to go to college. We went to different universities (Slippery Rock and Pitt-Greensburg). A long distance relationship is not easy, but we survived and married in 2001.

We have added two wonderful children to our lives. Chris works as a programmer while I work from home as a Macaroni Kid publisher. I'm also the PTA Secretary at our childrens' school and involved in Scouts.

My husband (Mark Felbinger) and I barely knew each other in high school, although we had lots of mutual friends. Mark graduated in 2002 and went to Slippery Rock and I graduated in 2003 and went to Duquesne. After Mark graduated in 2006 and taught in Virginia for a year, he moved back to Pittsburgh in 2008 and bought a home on the same block he grew up on (which is less than 2 miles from the street I grew up on).

We met again at a mutual friend's St. Patrick's Day party in 2010 and have been together every since. We were married on June 23, 2013 with a majority of our wedding party being Baldwin grads.

Talk about unusual, I am a second generation Baldwin High School love story. My parents Janet Blohme and Harry Bentz went on their first date on February 15th to a Baldwin wrestling match as sophmores, and graduated in 1965, and married in 1969 and have been happily married ever since. I started dating my husband in October of 1987 at 14 years old. He was 15. After dating for almost 2 years, my dad was transferred to Sydney, Australia. We stayed in touch, but 4 days after we moved back in 1991, we were back together, and have been ever since. Jim graduated in 1990, and I was in the class of 1991. So needless to say we will be taking our daughter's first boyfriend (hopefully at the age of 18..) very seriously since it seems to run in the family. We now live in pleasant hills, have 2 kids and look forward to our 17th anniversary this year! My parents will be celebrating their 44th anniversary. Must be some magic in those halls....
