Police Charge Man with DUI After Crash on Dewalt Drive
Baldwin Township Police Department reports lone arrest from Aug. 12-25.
The Baldwin Township Police Department is accusing Scott Crawford, 42, of Mississippi Avenue in Dormont Borough, of driving under the influence of alcohol in Baldwin Township's 400 block of Dewalt Drive on Aug. 12.
Police arrived at that area at approximately 11:26 p.m. that night to find that a vehicle driven by Crawford had crashed into a utility pole there.
Crawford was put through field-sobriety tests, which police report that he failed, before being charged with suspicion of DUI and taken to St. Clair Hospital for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.
