Police Arrest Krull for Thefts

Pittsburgh police found Krull in the Oakland area.

Pittsburgh police have arrested a woman wanted for committing fraud and thefts in the South Hills.

Amanda Krull, 23, was arrested on Thursday at a hotel in the city's Oakland area, interviewed by Pittsburgh police Zone 6 detectives and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

Krull, who had been known to frequent Whitehall and Brentwood boroughs and the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Carrick, Brookline and Sheraden, was wanted by the Pittsburgh police, West Mifflin Borough police and the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office.

Krull was charged with theft and writing bad checks. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 17.

While a Brentwood resident in April, Krull was charged by Whitehall police with one count each of theft by deception, prohibited acts in charitable solicitation and soliciting without a permit.
