PNC Bank Customers Encounter Log-in Problems

The Pittsburgh-based bank seems to be the latest victim in reported cyber attacks on major U.S. banks.

Some PNC Bank customers have reported problems on Thursday logging into their online accounts.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that the Pittsburgh-based institution apparently is the latest victim in a wave of cyber attacks on major U.S. banks.

Bank spokesman Fred Solomon told the Post-Gazette on Thursday morning that if a customer can't reach the PNC website or log in on his or her first attempt, the customer should just return to the site a little later. Solomon said that some people were also having problems accessing mobile banking.

There is a PNC Bank branch in Whitehall Borough at Caste Village and another in Baldwin Township on McNeilly Road.
