PHOTOS: Whitehall Library Lobby Sees Improvements
A jewel of the borough sparkles brighter.
The Whitehall Public Library, already known for its top-notch appearance, got a bit more beautiful recently with the renovation of its lobby area.
Paula Kelly, the director of the library, and Virginia Weida, who runs Virginia Weida Designs, spoke at a Whitehall Borough Council meeting in February about the makeover, and this month, the changes were realized.
The renovations were approved at a cost to the borough not too exceed $25,000. Read more about them here.
The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch visited the library on Monday to check out the lobby, which, most notably, now boasts the names of library donors on a new "tribute wall."

NE,
I'm told that fundraising still needs to be done regarding that project.

Thanks, I figured as much, I was hoping there would have been some sort of update in their recent newsletter.

Thanks Bob, we are so happy with the remodel. Everyone that donated bricks back in the 90's has a nice new brick on our 'tribute mural' that won't erode or get stained. Still some final touches, but so far so good!

I'm very impressed with the bricks on the mural when I stopped in and seen it. Whitehall Library is one of the corner stones of our community that we as residents should all be proud of.
