Patch's $100K 'Deck the House' Contest
Did you decorate your house for the holidays this year? Enter our contest, and you could win $100,000 for your local school district and $500 to pay your electric bill!
We've launched our annual "Deck the House" Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best "decked" house in the country, the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in your town jokes that your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center's.
If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or a video of your decorated home to our contest page (http://deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/baldwin-whitehall) from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16.
Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter—in this case, Baldwin Borough, Whitehall Borough or Baldwin Township.
Patch officials will select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Patch will pay up to $500 of the electric bill for each finalist, while our national winner will have an additional $100,000 donated to his or her local school district.
The contest has started, so now's the time to get your holiday decorations out of the attic and "deck" your house.
After all, 'tis the season ...

Please spread the word! This is a lot of money that could come to our public school district.

I had to go somewhat near that area and drove by tonight. Only a few lights were lit. I saw deflated items in the front yard. I did recognize the manger scene (not lit) I don't know if they aren't done yet or not doing it all or if it was because of all this rain that the lights were not on. I will have to drive by another night.

According to a post from October on their Facebook page, it seems like he had back surgery a couple of months ago. I think that is why there is a smaller display. :-(. Hope he feels better soon!

Bob had 2 back operations and is going to have another one soon. I wish someone could take over decorating for them this year as they have raised so much money for a worthy cause.
