Each week, our council of experts and smart parents takes your questions, gives advice and shares solutions.
Though he has no children of his own (but he once was one!), Baldwin-Whitehall Patch Editor Bob Healy provides the topic this week.
"Do you eat dinner with your kids? Sure, you do on Thanksgiving, but what about every other day? How important is it to have a family meal?"
Please leave your comments below this article to share with other Patch readers.
The other parents certainly appreciate it.

We eat dinner together as a family almost EVERY day. It is a very special treat to eat in the living room watching a movie. In 8 years I can count on one hand the number of times we have done that. I think it is wonderful to sit down and talk to each other. Our conversation always starts with, How was your day or Tell me something you did today or learned today. We are all so busy with work, school, and activities that I think being together as a family, even if only for a half an hour is important.
