Nearby: Route 885 Roadwork

Lane closures will occur on weekdays from Dec. 3-12.

Crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 will cause intermittent, short-term lane closures on Route 885 (Mifflin Road) on weekdays from Dec. 3-12 due to geotechnical drilling and research for several proposed culvert (water tunnel) replacements.

The work will occur on the border of Pittsburgh's Hays and New Homestead neighborhoods—from Mifflin Road's intersection with Slate Street to its intersection with Doerrville Avenue. The lane closures will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on work days.

Motorists should use caution and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
