Nearby: Route 88 Water Line Work Begins Tuesday
If you're out and about in Bethel Park this summer ...
The Pennsylvania American Water Company will work to install a new water line on Route 88 in Bethel Park starting on Tuesday morning, weather permitting, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.
Crews from Golden Triangle Construction, of Imperial, PA, under a contract with PA American Water, will remove an existing 8-inch line and replace it with a new 12-inch line on Route 88 from its Churchill Road intersection to its Berryman Avenue one.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., as needed, weekdays through late July.
Flag crews will assist traffic with moving through work areas. Conditions requiring full stoppage of motor vehicles should be expected. Motorists should use caution, slow down and allow extra time when traveling through work areas.

Thank goodness for all the back roads that lead over to Bethel Park, to go see family and friends and down to the Trolley Stop.
