Moms Talk is a weekly feature on the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch.
Each week, our Moms Council of experts and smart parents takes your questions, gives advice and shares solutions.
B-W Patch Moms Council member Christina Gruber starts the conversation this week by asking, "Do you let your kids ride the school bus, or do you drive them to school? If you drive them, why?"
Please leave your comments below this article to share with other Patch readers.
The other parents certainly appreciate it.

Our kids take the bus, but we have had concern about the buses, like today not showing up.

Any other parents not have their bus show up today? Do your kids take a B-W bus, Lou?

My son's bus for Harrison was 10 minutes late this morning. I am hearing from other parents there are still issues with buses and changes are still being made. Hopefully it all gets worked out soon. I have been driving my daughter to school just so that I can get off to work without any issues but otherwise my kids ride the bus. But I heard stories today of buses being early and kids not even at the bus stops yet and then stories of buses being very late getting elementary school kids home. So I am sure they are still working at getting it all fixed soon.

My kids go to B-W, I left work to take them to school and the principal was trying to locate the bus. We where concerned that everything was okay with the bus as they tried to track down the bus. I am curious what happened.

My daughter's bus did not pick her up until 8:55 this am. It came around asking if we were young scholar students (which we are not) and then it left without her. And came back around to pick up BW students. This is totally unacceptable, we pay BW taxes, our children should be able to ride the bus and arrive at school ON TIME. I have no problem driving my daughter, but she likes riding the bus to see her friends. A lot of people are not fortunate to stay at home with their children and have to work. The bus routes need to be fixed!

When my youngest daughter was in 5th grade, I drove her a lot becasue she had activities before the start of school.
