Nearby: Kids Can Trick-or-Treat at South Hills Village Thursday Night

An annual Halloween party begins there at 6 p.m.

Kids looking for a spooky good time can head over to South Hills Village from 6 to 8 tonight, Thursday, Oct. 25, to take part in the mall's annual Halloween festivities.

Costumed children aged 12 years and younger are invited to receive a free trick-or-treat bag at the mall (while supplies last) and collect Halloween treats from participating South Hills Village stores. Participating stores will be marked by a festive Halloween sign.

So that the event may be fun and safe for all visitors, children and families should adhere to the following guidelines for the evening:

  1. Costumes are permitted to be worn only during the two-hour event.
  2. Masks are allowed only on children aged 12 years and younger.
  3. Toy weapons are not permitted.

"South Hills Village is the perfect place for families looking for Halloween entertainment in a fun, safe community environment," said Jennifer Carroll, the mall's director of marketing. "Whether kids want to show off their new costume or take home some Halloween goodies, there is something here for every ghost, witch, princess and werewolf."

Be sure to upload your costumed kids' pictures here after the event. You could win $5,000!
