Juvenile Arrested After Disturbance
Whitehall Borough police received several calls at around 7:16 p.m. on May 29 about a possible fight breaking out at the basketball courts at Wallace (Prospect) Park.
When police arrived, they discovered a disturbance between adults and juveniles. According to Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko, an older male youth had made lewd comments directed at a female juvenile.
An adult approached the scene, and the older male youth made additional comments and obscene gestures, Danko said. The youth was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Identity Fraud Case Reported
A Whitehall resident called police at around noon on June 2 to report that $286.68 in fraudulent activity had occurred on her Dollar Bank card.
The unauthorized transaction took place that day at a grocery store in Nevada, Danko said.
Chairs Stolen from Porch
A resident of the 1500 block of Bevan Road called police at around 8:35 a.m. on June 4 to report that someone had removed three folding lawn chairs from the porch of her home.
