UPDATED: Glass Run Geotechnical Drilling Begins Wednesday in Baldwin
Work related to bridge replacement project.
UPDATED (Aug. 13, 4:30 p.m.): This once-delayed project will resume on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Short-term, single-lane, alternating-use traffic will occur as needed on a part of Glass Run Road in north Baldwin Borough from Wednesday, Aug. 15, through Wednesday, Aug. 22.
The restrictions—between Gensler and Cathell roads—will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on those days, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.
Crews will be drilling the roadway to aid in the geotechnical design of a new culvert being placed there. The culvert will be part of a Glass Run bridge replacement project that is scheduled to begin in the same area in early 2014.
Flag crews will control traffic. Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.

I am so glad I don't have to go near this part of Baldwin as the roads are a mess there.
