1. Free Swimming Lessons
Where?/When?: South Park Wave Pool/Thursday, July 7, 10-10:45 a.m.
Why Go?: The Allegheny County Parks Department is offering free swimming lessons at the South Park swimming pool. Participants must be 5 years of age or older. Classes for individuals with last names beginning with "A" through "K" are held on Tuesdays, and classes for individuals with last names beginning with "L" through "Z" are held on Thursdays!

2. Passport to Fun: Australia
Where?/When?: Michaels in Bethel Park/Thursday, July 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: Michaels continues its Passport to Fun summer program with an Australian craft. Children aged 3 and older will create Australian aboriginal art and a koala bear (while supplies last).
Pricing: Free with purchase of supplies.
3. Classic Cinemas Under the Stars
Where?/When?: South Park Agricultural Center/Thursday, July 7, 9 p.m.
Why Go?: Enjoy a classic movie outdoors with your family! The movie The Wizard of Oz will be playing at the South Park Agricultural Hall at sunset.

4. Pittsburgh CLO presents "A Gleeful Evening"
Where?/When?: South Park Amphitheater/Friday, July 8, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go?: The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera will perform as part of the summer concert series at South Park. The performance will feature Broadway's future stars performing the classic and current hits of musical theater.

5. Stargazing
Where?/When?: South Park Wave Pool/Friday, July 8, 9 p.m.
Why Go?: The South Park Nature Center will hold a night of stargazing in the South Park Wave Pool parking lot. Young and old alike will view galaxies, nebulas and the many mysteries of the cosmos.

6. Raspberry Festival
Where?/When?: Triple B Farms/Saturday-Sunday, July 9-10, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: This year's Raspberry Festival will feature hayrides, giant slides, a rope maze, a playground, farm animals and more! Make sure that you take a break from the festivities to pick your own raspberries!
Pricing: $5 per person for a play-all-day wristband; pick-your-own raspberries for $4.50 per pound.
7. Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic: Tow Truck
Where?/When?: Lowe's (Baptist Road in Bethel Park)/Saturday, July 9, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go?: Children aged 3 and older will create a tow-truck kit that comes with stickers and a working tow hook.

9. Pittsburgh Riverhounds Game

Why Go?: Come cheer on Pittsburgh's professional soccer team! The Pittsburgh Riverhounds will take on F.C. New York.
