1. Baby Lapsit
Where?/When?: Baldwin Borough Public Library/Thursday, June 23, 10-10:30 a.m.  
Why Go?: Parents and their children will explore language through books and activities. Baby Lapsit is for children aged 2 and younger.
Pricing: FREE.

2. Elementary Summer Reading Club
Where?/When?: Whitehall Public Library/Thursday, June 23, 10-11:15 a.m.
Why Go?: The Elementary Summer Reading Club is for children aged 6 and older. The program includes storytime, crafts and a snack. Call 412-655-7741 to register!
Pricing: FREE.

3. Summerfest
Where?/When?: Saint Albert the Great Catholic Parish/Thursday-Saturday, June 23-25, 7-11 p.m.
Why Go?: Saint Albert the Great Catholic Parish is holding its annual Summerfest carnival from June 20-25. The community is invited for great food and fun! Dinner will be served each night. There will also be rides, games, prizes and raffles.
Pricing: Varies, though admission is free.

4. Fire Cracker Bowling Special
Where?/When?: Princess Lanes/Friday, June 24, 9 a.m.-midnight.
Why Go?: In honor of Caste Village's Independence Day fireworks celebration, Princess Lanes is offering specials all day!
Pricing: $1 bowling, $2 hot dogs and chips, and $2 drink specials.

5. Put Life Back in Your Life
Where?/When?: Whitehall Public Library/Friday, June 24, 1-3:30 p.m. 
Why Go?: This is a six-week workshop series for senior citizens. The program is designed for adults dealing with ongoing health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and/or heart disease. Participants will learn strategies for living a happier, healthier life. Register online by Friday!

6. Rendezvous
Where?/When?: New Wine Harvest/Friday, June 24, 8-10 p.m.
Why Go?: Rendezvous, a music-based event, is a great way for youth and young adults from across the South Hills area to get together, hang out and experience church like never before. This month, the band is Bradenton.
Pricing: FREE.

7. How 'Bout Them Fireworks?
Where?/When?: Caste Village/Friday, June 24, 9-11 p.m.
Why Go?: Caste Village's famous fireworks display is back! The event is fun for the whole family, including live entertainment, food, music and, best of all, a fireworks display to end the night!
Pricing: Varies, though admission is free.

8. Men's Coffee Hour @ Café Fusion
Where?/When?: Café Fusion/Saturday, June 25, 8-9 a.m.
Why Go?: For coffee and conversation! Men of Baldwin-Whitehall are invited to this East Willock Road location.
Pricing: FREE.

9. Lisa Clay Styles Memorial Race & Walk
Where?/When?: South Park/Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m.
Why Go?: This event is to honor Lisa Clay Styles as a mother, wife, friend and runner. Lisa was hit by a car when that car ran a stop sign on June 28, last year. She passed away the following day. Lisa's final act before being struck was pushing the stroller with two of her young children away to safety. The race will start near the children's playground in South Park and continue up Corrigan Drive. This is a 5,000-meter run and a stroller-friendly one-mile walk. Click here to register.
Pricing: $25 for the run; $20 for the walk. All participants who register in advance are guaranteed a T-shirt.

10. Keystone Canine Training Club Expo and Open House
Where?/When?: Keystone Canine Club/Sunday, June 26, 1-4 p.m.
Why Go?: The Keystone Canine Training Club is celebrating its new, state-of-the-art facility with a free training expo and open house. There will be free workshops for dog owners every half-hour and demonstrations of American Kennel Club agility, obedience and rally skills by some of the club's top dogs. Also, the event will offer door prizes, free samples and information on pet insurance. All are welcome to attend!
