Friday Night's Football Game Starts at 7:30 (Plus Season Stats)
The Baldwin game at Canon-Mac was originally publicized as starting a half-hour earlier.
Baldwin High School will play at Canon-McMillan High School in a WPIAL AAAA Southeastern Conference football game at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Previous Patch stories showed the game as starting a half-hour earlier. We regret the error.
Baldwin High (2-5 overall, 1-5 Southeastern) will almost certainly have to win its final two games of the regular season to have a shot at a WPIAL playoffs berth. Canon-McMillan High (1-6, 1-5) is in the same predicament.
Again, the game starts at 7:30 p.m. this Friday. If you're going, here are directions to Canon-Mac Stadium. Note that parking is limited, and most fans park on side streets.
Included in this article's media gallery—click on the PDF located toward the right side of this page (below the photo)—are Baldwin's season statistics through all seven games.
See how your favorite Highlander (and his team) is doing, numbers-wise.
Note: The games-played statistic may not be accurate for each player.

What I deduce from these statistics is that we need to score in the red zone (only converting 36% thus far) and also we need to get attendance up! Let’s support our men these final games.
Does anyone know the capacity of BHS Stadium? My guess is that it is around 2,000 with another 8,000 to 10,000 standing room only spaces. That said, there is enough room for us all! Haha…lol
It is legend that Yanetti (see RECAP/STATS: Panthers Shred Highlanders, 47-6 article for Yanetti explanation) had a secret corridor installed in the home locker room where he used to smoke cigarettes at half time. I wonder if this was uncovered during the renovation.
Robert, you should have a poll as to who the community thinks the greatest Highlander of all time is. I’m sure that we would get votes for Dave Wannstedt, Damon Denson, Brian Gelzheiser, and Bull Voelker. God Bless.
