FORECAST: Weather Service Warns of Freezing Rain, Icy Roads
A winter weather advisory has been issued for our area.
Expect freezing rain and ice accumulations of about a tenth of an inch on Friday in the Pittsburgh area.
That's the word from the National Weather Service, which issued a winter weather advisory that is in effect on Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The freezing rain is expected to begin between 6 and 8 a.m. and end between 1 and 3 p.m.
The weather service warns of hazardous travel conditions because of ice-covered roads.

This isn't reporting. This is copying. To the best of my knowledge you aren't a meteorologist. Anyone can watch the weather channel and post a "story" about it...just sayin..

justice seeker - you might not like Bob's Weather reports but others do. Since I'm not home to watch the news, reading about bad weather on the Patch is the best. Thank you Bob.

I appreciate the forecast as well.... Also... my comments aren't showing up half the time I post them. I'm not even sure this one will make it thru. Seems to be many bugs with the mobile version of the patch, in my opinion.

Bob, Frank just happens to know that he wrote his a good while before I wrote mine (since we live nearby) and mine showed up and not his. That is why he mentioned it.

By the way, even though we're not out of the woods just yet, the weather hasn't been too bad today. I haven't noticed any slippery conditions other than in my own driveway. How does everyone else feel?

Dearest Justice Seeker, I do not understand your way of conversing on this news page but I like the weather updates on the Patch. My mother, Baruska, used to be able to predict the type of weather that was fast approaching by the tightness in her knuckles. She was my weather predictor, it was not always right, but it worked!! I like Patch weather updates because it is quick and I am sure there are no use of knuckle tightness in their predictions. If you can predict weather then perhaps you send in report to patch that is of your liking. I deem your new name Weather Seeker cause you seek no justice, you seek wintry mixes.

There is a small group of people out there, who's only focus is to post hateful comments, reviews, rants, etc. on the internet's various communities, forums, what have you. They probably sit around all day with nothing better to do, but just going around spreading their negativity. They have no life outside of that.
