Icy conditions are likely to blame for delays to the start of classes at schools in and near the Baldwin-Whitehall area on Monday, Jan. 28.
In addition to a two-hour delay for all Baldwin-Whitehall School District schools for Monday, the Young Scholars of Western Pennsylvania Charter School, in Baldwin Township, will also have a two-hour delay.
And according to WPXI, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic School, in Baldwin Borough, and St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin School, in Whitehall Borough, will also have two-hour delays.
Good Shepherd Christian Preschool, in Whitehall, will have a 10 a.m. start, according to WPXI, and classes at all Community College of Allegheny County locations will start at noon.
Baldwin Community United Methodist Pre-school, in Whitehall, has a 9:45 a.m. start on Monday, according to KDKA.
Wesley Spectrum Highland Services, in Whitehall, has a two-hour delay, according to KDKA.
