Court Updates: Baldwin Borough DUIs

And an update on another alcohol-related charge.

The following results are from recent hearings held in the Wallace Building office of Magistrate John N. Bova of District Court 05-2-18:

  • Baldwin police charged Steve Gault, 53, of Pinchtown Road in Baldwin Borough, with DUI on May 13. Gault's Oct. 23 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Dec. 11. His case will now be part of a Jan. 30 docket conference. That conference should result in the next legal step for Gault's charge.

  • Baldwin police charged Robert Palmer Zinkand, 44, of Frederick Street in Baldwin Borough, with DUI on Aug. 29. Zinkand's Oct. 23 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Dec. 11. His case will now be part of a Feb. 4 docket conference. That conference should result in the next legal step for Zinkand's charge.

  • Baldwin police charged Jeffrey Krause, 52, of Wallace Avenue in Bethel Park, with DUI on Aug. 5. Krause's Oct. 23 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Dec. 11, where he was granted a Feb. 8 accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD) hearing.

  • Baldwin police charged Douglas Patrick Martin, 49, of Pleasant Street in South Park Township, with DUI on Oct. 12. Martin's Dec. 11 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 30.

  • Baldwin police charged Luke Benedict Royer Jr., 32, of Woodhill Drive in Munhall Borough, with DUI on Oct. 13. Royer's Dec. 11 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 30.

  • Baldwin police charged Mario Joseph Germany, 24, of Cedricton Street in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood, with DUI on Oct. 18. Germany's Dec. 18 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Feb. 5.
