This week's local business spotlight is PKA Karate Academy along McNeilly Road in Baldwin Township.
PKA—standing for "Perseverance, Knowledge and Action"—came to the Pittsburgh area in 1978. Its main focus is teaching the Kenpo style of karate, as well as other martial arts. It also offers a variety of programs for students of all ages, teaching physical fitness, self-discipline or self-defense.
