Body Found in Mt. Pleasant Township

State police said that a body was found on Thursday afternoon on Sabo Road near Westland Road.

A body was found on Thursday afternoon in a heavily wooded area off of Sabo Road near Westland Road in Mt. Pleasant Township, Pennsylvania State police said.

Washington County Coroner Timothy S. Warco and state police responded to the scene near Route 519, but no information about the person's identity was available. A state trooper at the scene would not say if the body was of a Baldwin Borough woman who has been missing since late Wednesday afternoon.

State police said that they plan to hold a press conference later on Thursday at their barracks in Washington.
