A big announcement for Big Ben.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback wrote online on Saturday that his wife, Ashley, is pregnant.

"Ashley and I are proud to let you all know that we are expecting a baby boy later this year!" Ben Roethlisberger posted Saturday on his official website. "It is truly a blessing and we are so excited!"

The Roethlisbergers received more than 2,000 messages from fans on Ben's website since posting the announcement.

The couple married in July 2011.

Ben graduated from Miami University (OH) in May—nine years after leaving for the NFL.
