South Hills Village shoppers might be in for a fun surprise on Sunday, Feb. 24.
South Park Middle School students are scheduled to break out in a dance routine between 2 and 4:30 p.m. on the lower level of the mall, near the entrance of the soon-to-be-opening Target store.
The dance is part of the students' Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. The performance is for encouraging students to pledge to stand up to bullying.
The program teaches children about kindness and caring, to stand up to bullies and to help other students in need.

This is a wonderous idea from the children!
I once attempted to do a flash mob by myself inside Danny's Pizza and Hoagies on Route 51. Unfortunately, it did not have the desired effect. My cause was to support that they have the best Italian hoagies (sorry Mr. & Mrs. Frisch!) in the area but the end result was confusion and horror by the Mexican workers.

Uncle Helix always talks about the greatness of their steak hoagies in the late 80's and early 90's. I must say, I do enjoy Frisch's steak hoagies over Danny's currently (Your welcome, Mr. & Mrs. Frisch! haha...lol).
God bless all of my Whiteheads (friends from Whitehall) today! It is going to be a glorious Saturday to spend with family friends and pets.
