That is incorrect. What is your source here?

As for the first two listings that you mentioned, I apologize if they are no longer for sale, but I use a "West Penn MLS" to verify these each week. It's an industry standard. What is your source?

The list your using is good but some agents don't update it when homes go off the market. The paper work that I got on the Rolling Hills home has it listed in Baldwin Township. Errors happen all over and when I get into the office today will check out exactly where it is at.

JustMe - I assume that you are a realtor as you appear to have vast knowlege of the goings on in our area. Have you established an hourly rate? Fern Yonke seems to dominate our market with all of the signs she displays.

I am throwing back and forth the option of selling my home as I have grown to dislike it greatly. Thank you for anything that you may be able to provide.

Sasafras
Fern Yonke is a wonderful lady who works for Remax and she list many homes on the market but she works for RE/MAX. If you want to put your home up for sale, find a agent that you feel comfortable with, who understands what you want. If you decide to sell your home, call different agencies and talk to them, let them look at your home and tell you what it is worth. and don't let the first one push you in with listing it with her/him at a price that your not happy with. Real Estate Companies want the commission for listing and selling your home. Your the one that is selling your home so your the one that has to be happy with the list price and what they are offering. I work off commission on the homes that I list and sell, so it is a very cut throat business. Just remember real estate agents are out there to make a commission on buying and selling homes and you have to make the decision, not them as in the end they just care about the money that they are making.

Thank you so much for this, JustMe. I will be sure to do my due diligence. My Uncle Helix is under the impression that my home is worth what I paid for it in 2008 but I disagree as I believe the market has come back (at least a little) since then and would be worth a bit more.

I sense that the best way to go about settling our argument together is to engage a professional…..or just continue to badger Uncle Helix and make him submit to my submission….haha…lol…Of course I am being facetious!

Have a fantastic day. Hallows-eve is almost upon us!
