UPDATE: Ford Gets to 1-2 Years in Brentwood Nude Photos Case

UPDATE: Ford pleaded guilty on Sept. 18 to unlawful contact with minor-sexual offenses, and the remaining charges were all withdrawn. He was sentenced to 1-2 years of confinement and eight years of probation.
The Allegheny County Police Department arrested Daniel Edward Ford, a 46-year-old man from Baldwin Borough, in February on charges that Ford solicited nude photos of minors.
Online court documents show that the illegal activity began as early as June 2011.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting that Ford exchanged cash, drugs and services such as body piercings in exchange for the nude photos of five Brentwood Middle School girls aged 12 to 14. The Tribune-Review is also reporting that Ford even did some of the piercings himself.
Court records show that Ford had a preliminary hearing in the Wallace Building office of Magistrate John N. Bova of District Court 05-2-18 on Feb. 21. Bova's jurisdiction includes Baldwin and Brentwood boroughs.
Ford faced charges of criminal use of communication facility, unlawful contact with minor-sexual offenses, criminal solicitation-photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-child, body piercing minor, sell obscene/sexual materials, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.
Bova withdrew the indecent assault charge, but Ford faced the remaining charges at a formal arraignment at the Allegheny County Courthouse on April 12.
Ford's arraignment resulted in a jury trial that begin on July 9 and wrapped up with Ford's guilty plea and sentencing.

Man, you guys act like he raped and killed someone... You shouldn't believe everything you hear you know the media makes it bigger than it actually is. and as far as the slaughter charge I read he wasn't actually charged with that... he was in the wrong place at the wrong time!! and it was YEARS ago! Innocent until proven guilty! He wasn't guilty of that charge. Also, once he does his time, he deserves a second chance... everyone deserves a second chance! God gives everyone a second change plus!
