B-W Trivia: Which Street Corner Is This?
We will reveal the answer on Monday.
The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch has partnered with the Baldwin Historical Society to bring you a weekly trivia question that delves into our area's colorful past.
Pat Lombardi and Patty Woehler, co-presidents of the society, generously write the questions and provide the pictures.
BY THE WAY, the first Baldwin-Whitehall Patch trivia question came on Oct. 15, 2011—almost one year ago. Thank you to Pat and Patty for these gifts to the community!
Here is this week's question:
This is a great picture taken in 1938 that shows a very busy corner with a brick street.
There was a light in the center post of the street that acted as a traffic light. This was before stop signs.
Can you tell which corner this is?
(And does anyone know who the children are? Would be great to find out. Tell us in the comments section below.)
