The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch has partnered with the Baldwin Historical Society to bring you a weekly trivia question that delves into our area's colorful past.

Pat Lombardi and Patty Woehler, co-presidents of the society, generously write the questions and provide the pictures.

BY THE WAY, the first Baldwin-Whitehall Patch trivia question came on Oct. 15, 2011—just over one year ago. Thank you to Pat and Patty for these gifts to the community!

Here is this week's question:

This picture was taken around 1920.

It shows the Monongahela River between Pittsburgh's Oakland area and East Carson Street/River Road.

Notice the oil tanks toward the front of the picture. They contained much of the area's oil, including heating oil.

What is the name of the company that owned these tanks?
