Pat Lombardi and Patty Woehler, co-presidents of the society, generously write the questions and provide the pictures.
Here is this week's question, er ... questions:
In 1933, a tract of land—9,997 acres—was purchased from Henry C. Bughman.
The land was used to place these towers on it. They were radio and TV towers.
What were the names of the towers, and where are they located?

I really don't know the answer. I don't know the name of the towers. Just off of Doyle Road where it bends near Girard Road. I guess you can figure out why I am saying that Bob. LOL

I would take a guess and say these towers are in the Baldwin area known as 40 acres.

OK, without further ado, according to Pat Lombardi, these are the "W.C.A.E. Twin Towers and the W.T.A.E. Tower ... located off Agnew Road near Cloverfield Drive, in Baldwin Borough."

I figured it was going to be that since all of them are always in Baldwin and none in Whitehall :( If there was any it is rare and I don't remember it.

That is certainly one example. We've had other Whitehall mentions, as well. Baldwin Borough, of course, used to include Whitehall, so some questions' subject matter might be labeled "Baldwin" but would be "Whitehall" now.

I know that NE12Ukid, I can read. I learned in first grade. I wrote that because I knew Bob would read it. He and I had emailed privately back and forth about an old photo I emailed to him.
