B-W Patch 'Best of' Winner: Favorite Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt Place

The readers have spoken, and it's really no contest ... Sugar & Spice Ice Cream Parlor on Route 51 received an overwhelming majority of votes in the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch's 2012 "Best of" contest for favorite ice cream/frozen yogurt place.
The south Baldwin Borough staple earned 68 percent of our readers' votes, compared to 12 percent for the second-place shop—Julie's Treats of Whitehall Borough's Caste Village.
Other places considered for the award were Dairy Queen on Route 51 (8 percent), Rita's on McNeilly Road (6 percent), Schneider's Dairy on Frank Street (2 percent) and Eat'n Park on Route 51 (also 2 percent).
