Probation?!? What about the rights of the car owner, what break did they get? Cleaning up and paying for the damage the would-be-thief made! Community service and restitution should have been ordered!! We law-abiding residents who PAY with our hard earned money for our vehicles and insurance deserve better! The police did their job, it's about time the magistrate does theirs!
